Pulse Data Deletion

Pulse is published under the Daepoimyr brand by independent developer Mark Mottian.

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with Pulse. Pulse has no user account system, so this is a data deletion process—not an account deletion process. You do not need to install Pulse or have a Pulse account to make a request.

How to request deletion

To request deletion of Pulse data associated with you:

  1. Email pulse.gameplay.team@gmail.com.
  2. Use the subject .
  3. In your message, provide only enough information to help identify the relevant records. Because Pulse has no account and generally uses opaque or pseudonymous identifiers, the developer may ask for limited additional information needed to locate and verify a relevant record.

Data stored locally on your device

Local Pulse data may include game progress, level progression or completion, scores and accuracy, your Daily first-run result, preferences and settings, your analytics-consent choice, notification preferences and reminder time, a local signed entitlement cache, and Pulse Premium progression.

You can generally remove local-only Pulse data using Android Settings → Apps → Pulse → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling Pulse. Android backup, restoration, manufacturer settings, or other device behavior outside Pulse's control may affect copies managed by Android or your device provider.

Backend and online data

Depending on the features used, Pulse may hold or process limited online records such as Daily or service request metadata, commerce-verification records, purchase and entitlement lifecycle records, hashed purchase-token identity, installation identifiers or hashes, entitlement issuance or revocation information, security and fraud-prevention records, and support communications.

A deletion request can cover these records. Deletion or de-identification depends on locating and verifying the relevant records and on any continuing need for support, service operation, purchase administration, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Because Pulse has no account and uses pseudonymous identifiers, not every record can necessarily be linked to you.

Information that may need to be retained

Deletion does not always mean every record can be removed immediately. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for:

Where appropriate, retained information may be restricted to those purposes. Pulse does not promise deletion of every purchase or security record on demand.

Optional analytics

The Android app uses GameAnalytics only after an eligible adult expressly allows analytics. You can decline analytics and eligible adults can change their choice later in Pulse Settings. Turning analytics off stops future optional analytics delivery; it does not itself delete previously delivered records or disable purchase verification. Requests concerning analytics data may also be subject to GameAnalytics' applicable processor and developer mechanisms and retention practices.

Google Play purchase and payment information

Google Play separately processes purchase and payment information. Pulse does not receive or store payment-card details. For purchase-account or payment information held by Google, you may also need to use Google's own Google Play or account controls. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play Help.

Support email data

A support email may contain the sender's email address, message content, and diagnostic information they voluntarily provide. You can request deletion using the same address and subject listed above, subject to the legitimate retention needs explained on this page.
